Ethipothala waterfall is about 11 kilometres from Nagarjuna Sagar Dam and is home to the beautiful and spellbinding Ethipothala Waterfalls. This cascade is actually a mountain stream that plunges down 22 metres to form a serene lagoon at the foot of the hill. Ethipothala Waterfalls is a union of three minor rivers, namely the Tummala Vagu, Chandravanka Vagu and Nakkala Vagu which flow underground and emerge here as big waterfalls. The lagoons around the cascade are used for crocodile breeding programme run by the Forest Department of Andhra Pradesh.
